It’s all about target audience, engagement and the right marketing tools
We’re pleased to announce that KSPR has started 2017 with a raft of new clients and a load of great results!
We’ve recently started working with workplace interior designers Ben Johnson Interiors who are based in York and Newcastle but work all over the UK designing and installing amazing, contemporary offices for today’s style of working. KSPR has developed a fully integrated campaign using social media, blogs, online/offline press and quarterly e-newsletters to engage Ben Johnson’s target market. Within 2 days alone we have significantly driven up social media engagement, secured a regular advice slot in a regional paper and written two 600 word blogs plus a fact sheet.
In November, we were approached by new client Beacon Hill Hideaways to work on traditional media only and within the space of three days we have generated masses of press attention including a half page in Fabulous magazine (1.3 million circulation), a feature in the Scotsman (with another to follow), a full page in Flybe inflight magazine and a large feature in Star magazine (Daily Express supplement). Bookings are flooding in for them!
We also work with many other tourism and visitor attraction clients throughout the North East and national journalists now approach us for features regularly.
But as you know it’s not just about beautiful interiors and fabulous holidays at KSPR. We get our teeth firmly into the realities of life too. I personally work with the incredible drug, alcohol and mental health charity Addaction who help 70,000 vulnerable people per year from 120 services throughout the UK. I help to promote their fantastic work via online and offline media, and manage the social media for their services in the North. I’ve recently been filming with Addaction and BBC Midlands for a broadcast news item in Stoke; we recently set up a moving item in the Lincolnshire Echo with brave, recovering addicts and I’m soon to manage a feature on the Amy Winehouse Foundation and Young Addaction in Grantham. It’s uplifting and rewarding work and I’m constantly amazed and moved at the courage of the people I meet in this field.
Whatever our subject, it’s all about knowing who the most appropriate target audience is – then engaging with them in a way that appeals – using the optimum marketing tools to fit.
