Kate Slater, MCIPR, BA, Dip CIPR is a public relations professional with the advantage of a strong journalistic background.
A languages graduate and former BBC Radio Newcastle producer, Kate Slater has a great track record in PR, as well as journalism, TV production and radio production. She produced the BBC Radio Newcastle Drivetime news show, the BBC Julia Hankin arts and entertainment show, and worked as a broadcast journalist on the BBC Mike Parr breakfast show. A former press journalist, she has written for national women’s magazines, as well as the Newcastle Journal and Chronicle and has over 20 TV credits to her name.
With strong media contacts both regionally and nationally, KSPR creates and implements effective and successful press and public relations campaigns for a wide range of clients, from hotels and the leisure industry to house builders, retailers, manufacturers and service industries.
