We ran a six month, low budget, media-only campaign entitled “Everybody needs a little time away” to generate holiday bookings, pre and post renovation of previously derelict cottages.
No other marketing tools were used by the client, apart from a website.
Our press campaign (which generated positive coverage in BBC, Prima magazine, Take a Break, Sunday Express, Flybe magazine + more) was worth more than £52,000 in advertising value equivalent.
But the bookings it generated (at an average of £800 per week) brought in nearly £300,000 in revenue within a year, from a PR campaign which had cost the client less than £10,000.
Return on investment = 30:1.
