Kate Slater PR was a finalist in the Chartered Institute of Public Relations PRide Awards 2009 for her highly successful tourism PR campaign: “Everybody needs a little time away” for Doxford Cottages in North Northumberland. The PR which included a national media campaign and regional launch for the exclusive, five star self-catering holiday properties in North Northumberland, generated national recognition in leading publications and websites which secured scores of advance bookings from all over the UK even before the properties opened, as well as many more after the launch.
