Kate Slater PR clients make the national press
The Heat is on for the Wood Heating Company
KSPR generates lots of successful and effective press coverage for Doxford Cottages
Fish for Life at Loch Fyne, Gosforth
Kate Slater PR was delighted to see July 2009 Prima magazine featuring client Doxford Cottages, www.doxfordcottages.co.uk in a Northumberland feature. Other tourism clients are: Beacon Hill Cottages, www.beaconhill.co.uk, the Centre for Life, www.life.org.uk and Outchester & Ross Cottages www.rosscottages.co.uk which includes the enchanting Ducket, overlooking Lindisfarne Priory. See picture below.

Lots of regional coverage for Kate Slater Public Relations clients recently. James Pain from Sanderson Weatherall was interviewed on the BBC Radio Newcastle breakfast show by Mike Parr; Paul Wellstead of Spectrum Business Park took up most of the front page of the Journal Commercial Business supplement; the Centre for Life had the front page spread on the Chronicle jobs supplement and the Mini Archaeology series at the Centre for Life was featured in the Saturday Guardian.

Kate came up trumps at Newcastle Races recently with an invitation to judge the best turned out horse and present the trophy to the winning owner at the 3.20 Complete Football Handicap Stakes. A beautifully groomed and plaited Piccolo Pete won best turned out horse and winner of the race was Ace of Spies. Hopefully lots more trips to the races this year!
KSPR has gained not one, not two, but SEVEN new clients, which means we’re busy around the clock taking press enquiries, creating campaigns, drafting releases and organising exciting events to make sure our clients get column inches that count and coverage that reaches target audiences: in the right media; at the best time; and in the most effective way for them.

Fancy a luxurious 5* holiday on a 2,500 acre private estate on the glorious Northumbrian coast?
KSPR client, Doxford Cottages celebrated its launch with a champagne reception held in a marquee at Doxford, Chathill, Northumberland in July 2008. See the cottages at www.doxfordcottages.co.uk
Here’s a rundown of KSPR national and regional PR coverage for the cottages secured from May to December 2008:
Fish for Life Loch Fyne Restaurant Gosforth asked KSPR to promote its delicious, eco-friendly “alternatives” menu to regional press in August 2008, promoting fish that were still in plentiful supply in the waters around the UK. The campaign generated press coverage in the Journal, Accent magazine, and Exclusive magazine. Manager Jason Botha was interviewed on BBC Radio Newcastle and BBC journalists enjoyed a feast of eco-friendly fish on air.
